$25 off the first payment on any plan: the $149 one-time report, or the first month of Starter ($49) or Plus ($99). They also get the free mini-report first, so they can see the fit before paying.

$25 per paying client

Paid once per client, after their first payment clears and isn't refunded within 30 days. You can take it by PayPal or check, or as $25 of credit toward a FundFinch plan for your own work.

No dashboard, contract or minimums. We never contact your clients behind your back, and we don't write grants, so we don't compete with you.

How it works (honestly: it's manual)

FundFinch is a one-person business. There's no affiliate software or tracking cookie. A real person matches referrals by hand once a month. Here's exactly what happens:

  1. You email us at hello@fundfinch.com. Within two business days we reply with your personal link and a matching checkout code, for example https://tally.so/r/ArPaEy?ref=gw-jane and code GW-JANE.
  2. You share the link with clients who need grant prospects. It opens our free mini-report request form, and the ref=gw-jane part tells us the request came from you.
  3. We send your client a free mini-report. If they decide to buy, they enter your code at checkout and get $25 off automatically. Our checkout is a Stripe payment page.
  4. Once a month (in the first week) we check which payments used your code or came from your link, and email you a short list: organization name, plan and date.
  5. We pay you $25 per paying client by the 15th of the following month, once each payment is more than 30 days old and not refunded.
The fine print, in plain English: One reward per client organization, for its first payment only. If a client arrives through two writers, the first link or code used wins. You can't refer your own organization. Codes can't be combined with other discounts. If you're paid enough in a year to require tax reporting, we'll ask for a W-9. We may change or end the program with 30 days' notice; referrals made before then still get paid.

Questions writers ask

Will FundFinch try to sell my client grant writing? No. We don't write applications. If a client asks us for a writer, we'll point them back to you. What exactly does my client get? Verified, currently open grants that match their mission, budget and location, with deadlines, amounts and links checked on each funder's site, plus evidence of who funds similar groups. See the sample report or browse our free grant lists. Can I use FundFinch for my own client research? Yes. Email us if you'd like research for several clients. If you take your referral rewards as credit, they come off your bill. How do I know a referral was counted? You get the monthly email whether or not anything came in. If you think we missed one, reply and we'll check Stripe and the form together.
